Dr. Elnaz Melhi

I’m Elnaz a PhD in Psychology with a strong academic foundation in both clinical and general psychology, earned through my BSc and MSc degrees from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran.

For over a decade, I’ve worked as a psychotherapist in private practice, supporting individuals with both chronic and non-chronic psychological conditions. My clients include those dealing with depression, anxiety, emotional and relational difficulties, and people living with chronic illnesses—particularly Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

I have received extensive training in multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), under the supervision of highly regarded clinicians and experts in the field.

My professional focus lies in helping individuals navigate emotional challenges, manage the psychological impact of physical illness, and build more fulfilling relationships. Alongside my clinical work, I am actively engaged in research and always open to collaborative opportunities that aim to bridge mental health practice and science.
