Sara Samani

Sara is a first-generation Middle Eastern woman who has encountered the challenges of navigating her bicultural upbringing while facing the pressures to meet her family’s expectations and excel among her peers. Her experiences growing up offered her various perspectives towards human behaviour and emotion. Sara believes that through self-respect towards core values and needs, people can find a proactive and safe space within their mental health. Currently interning at Wellness North, Sara is pursuing a Master of Counselling at Yorkville University. She has a lot of experience working with neurodivergent students and at-risk youth, their respective families, and sensitive minority groups struggling with their mental health. Sara invites you to join her on a therapeutic journey within a non-judgmental environment, allowing everyone to reach their mental health goals and overcome any difficulties that they face.
